Hey everyone, does anyone out there use and SE because they find larger iPhones too addicting? For context, I’ve owned an 11 Pro and 12 mini along with an SE3, and every time I used those phones I always found myself going back to the SE. I always feel like I get sucked in by the larger screens, vibrant colors, and great contrast, and my SOT always reflects that. It’s like I get lost in those phones but not in the SE. How do y’all feel?

No. The bigger iPhones have some horrendous UI that makes using an iPhone harder to use with one hand.

The 2022 iPhone SE is not only better to use with one hand, but using it with two hands…works just fine. Even the keyboard is better than the iPhone 15 since it’s just a tad bit smaller but easy to tap on everything very quickly. The iPhone 15 keyboard is more spaced out and annoying of having to adjust your thumbs slightly more for fast typing.

Me! Went from 13 mini (it gave me really bad carpal tunnel in my wrists, like was going to need surgery) to SE 2, to SE 1. Sometimes I go back to SE 2. On SE 1 now.

Yep same, but coming from Pixel 6.

No real "good" small phone on Android (or very expensive ones). Got the SE2, refurbished. On the very few days/weeks, the battery was indeed bad (new toy to play with, u know) but now, it hold easily one day/and a half.

I realize i use my phone much less. And damn, when i take my gf's Fairphone 4, it feels like a damn brick.

I have a 13 and still use my SE for work and texting

It’s more comfortable to type with and hold

This was the reason I switched from an 6 inch android to the OGSE 3 years ago and it has worked for me, however when I need to use my brothers iPhone 11 I just want to get done with it ASAP because it’s heavy/big and there for uncomfortable to use ;)

SE3 is life. Sold my 14 Pro Max to come back. I love having a simple phone with one camera.

I recently bought an OGSE, and while my use case isn't really trying not to use my 13 Mini, it's really surprising how long that thing's (the OGSE's) battery lasts tbvh.

I loved the OGSE to death. I refused to let it go even when it was on its deathbed many, many years ago until it finally died. Fortunately for me I managed to get it to boot one last time so that I could transfer my data over to a 6s at the time.

Bought SE2 the instant it was released because how could I not?? After about 3 years it’s starting to slowdown abit so I just got myself a SE3 yesterday. Feels like the same exact phone but with better internals. I just can’t give up this old school look, it’s too good!

I’m addicted to my e ink screen smartphone (think kindle screen on android). Specifically a Hisense a9

I had an SE 1st gen in college in 2019, took social media off it, kept social media on my iPad for reward, got on some ADHD meds, and got a 3.54 GPA that semester as opposed to 2018 where I got a 1.67 because I had an 8 plus and it was my first semester. I think about getting an SE 3 sometimes but unfortunately, with having a XR and a XS now, the notch/full screen life has claimed my soul lol.

No, just hate how clownishly big the new phones are. I can’t stand bringing a second hand into using my phone. Plus the new phones are so heavy.

I use an iPhone for work. I waited until my company was done distributing these tiny old fashioned SE phones to ask them to change my 10 year old feature phone to a smartphone (and also, the speaker was broken). At least, the iPhone 11 has a decent sized screen.

I use se2 because I don’t want a giant phone. The iPhone 15 is just too big.

For me it's because I'm a PC user. Phone is just a backup device for me most of the time.
