Where to ask basic user questions regarding Matrix or Element (lemmy.world)

Hallo; Newbie here. Trying Matrix and Lemmy ATM. I have 2 questions. First: Should I ask questions regarding using the Matrix or Element here in this community (matrix@lemmy.ml), or in which other community on Lemmy?

Feel free to ask here and I'll reply. If you have a Matrix account you may wanna join #matrix:matrix.org too, it's the "general" room where you should be able to get answers

    Thank you! I will ask here. Before asking, though, I will study Github and https://matrix.org/docs/chat_basics/matrix-for-im/ more in detail.

    I was in #matrix:matrix.org this afternoon. Very much meaningless chatter. Serious questions (before today) kind of disappear in a stream of chatter and intermingling dialogues. I personally prefer a more structured place, like Lemmy offers technically. Good that some people crated and run this community here.
