Why is it so difficult for my iPhone to consistently and completely send notifications?

Sometimes I get them and sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I get some of them and not others. Sometimes there’s the accompanying sound and sometimes not. Sometimes things change if I reboot my phone and sometimes not. It’s extremely frustrating and I don’t understand why it’s so difficult. Any thoughts?

I just missed 2 alerts from messenger that were important setting up travel plans for thanksgiving bc my phone didn’t make a sound and it was right next to me. My iPhone does it all the time but my Galaxy gets notifications so much I have to silence it. Very frustrating!!

    I’m getting notifications but hardly hearing an alert for them.

    I have the same issue and my phone is always up to date. This happened for a while on my 11PM and again on my 15P

    the only times i would ever have an issue with receiving notifications is when i don’t have service.
