If you're experiencing the male loneliness epidemic, simply become a girl! Can't be a lonely guy if you're a girl!

Unironically I have found it's much easier to connect with people since I started to transition, both platonically and sexually. I haven't even changed all that much yet from my perspective, but being more myself than ever has helped me connect in ways that would have been impossible when I was doing my best impression of a cishet man.

The real solution to the male loneliness epidemic is gay sex

on a related note, yuri is a good way for women to avoid all the misogynistic men

I mean, I am already encouraging sepperation and such. I just think this is perfect, Lesbian women and Gay men who distrust and loathe each other = less humans = 90% of our issues fixed.

EDIT: Did I say plan? I just found myself agreeing with femcels one day.

Ironically burned by men myself, as a man.

I just want to live my life, not interact with men at all, and have a small pack of puppygirls.

I think it’s sarcastic, like pointing out that it’s not actually caused by women but rather the ever increasing atomization of society to extract profit and the garbage stream of content men are exposed to online that radicalizes them against authentic human connection for fear of being “unmasculine.”

    Maybe.

Sorry to miscommunicate - I did mean that the male loneliness epidemic is very much real. It’s just not caused by women. Although Andrew Tate types like to blame women, because it discourages men from interacting with women.

It’s primarily a shitpost community, so I wouldn’t take anything here as meant genuinely. Lemmy isn’t really like that the way other online spaces tend to be.

Femcelmemes is a vibe, not a cut-and-dry identity. Mostly a sapphic, self-deprecating vibe and nobody is really excluded.

If you don't mind my (male) perspective, I chuckled at this with the same brain that chuckles at dark humour and sarcastic self-deprecation...

My interpretation was that it's poking fun at correlation by implying causation, rather than celebrating causation (much like the other commenter said)

The male loneliness epidemic isn’t caused by women.

That’s the point of the meme.

When I first moved to my current house, my wife and kid stayed at our old home to pack stuff up for the move. (I was recently injured and so not much help with physical stuff.) Most days, the first and last time I spoke out loud were the two sentences I said in my daily morning meetings.

I had also developed a bad cold or flu or similar in the timeframe. When I attended those meetings (online) I wasn't always sure anything would come out when I opened my mouth. Sometimes I said random things beforehand to make sure my voice was going to work.

edit: I think this story is relevant, but I am a cis man. I truly apologize if this was not an appropriate place to tell my tale.
