Ugh, just gimme the email template and the rep based off state or county and I'll do it myself, I'm not giving my fucking info to some website

    The best way to get your position recorded is to call your representative or senator's local office, and be polite. All you need to say is "I'd like to have my position recorded on X issue or X bill." They'll ask you (probably) for your name, phone number, and zip code to establish that you're actually a constituent.

    Yeah, I mean the Internet is pretty much already controlled and censored by a couple of companies who owned the government anyway

    So just let it be worse and let those companies have an easier time controlling people? Just give up and do nothing about it? Sounds like a solid plan I'm sure it'll work out

    na just replace the government and break up the monopolies. We're all doing our part here on Lemmy by not using a social media monopoly. yay us!
