    No: They clearly do not have even a basic understanding. If they did, they'd realize they're fucking themselves up along with the business models that make them money.

    Nobody who has even a rudimentary grasp would ever think this was a smart move. They would also realize that such a ban would be trivial to circumvent.

    If this were to pass the Wisconsin Senate, would the outcry from the commercial space alone not reverse this? (I’m a privacy advocate, just curious)

    I'm surprised they want to ban it on the sites' side, and not make it illegal to use VPN in those states
