ZusĂ€tzlich noch Hide YouTube-Shorts um die scheiß Shorts loszuwerden und YouTube No Translation gegen ZwangsĂŒbersetzungen von Titeln und Beschreibung, gegen zwangsweise aktivierte Untertitel und gegen automatische Sychronisierung durch KI.

    YouTube No Translation

    Can't be bothered to actually write in german (feel free to start with the sprich comment chain) but this is what I needed. Clicked on a video a month ago with a german title and had no idea why it was in english. Turns out the auto translate got it and I only realised after 1min when there was clearly no emotion in the voice shere there should have been.

    Yes, it not only works for dubbing, but also for subtitles. You can either turn them always off or set them to a language of your choice.

    I noticed that it also works for chapter titles in the player itself.

    Das hier passiert alles auf Android.

    Und es geht auch strengenommen nicht um Privacy oder FOSS, sondern nur um die Kontrolle der sensorischen EindrĂŒcke und den Schutz vor manipulativen Inhalten.

    Aber +1 fĂŒr die exzellente Bildsprache.

    Als newpipe Nutzer Frage ich mich, wie das nÀchstes Jahr wird, wenn Apps nur noch aus dem playstore kommen können. Hat da jemand Ideen?

    Danke fĂŒr die Korrektur, ich hatte "zertifizierte GerĂ€te" verstanden wie: OS irrelevant, das GerĂ€t selbst ist zertifiziert. Vielleicht war das auch nur ein Bedenken der ersten Stunde, das ich irgendwo gelesen hatte.

    GrayJay find ich dafĂŒr ganz praktisch. Kann Sponsorblock, ist ein alt-client und Download geht auch.

    Mein flow ist:

    1. RSS reader
    2. mpv mit yt-dlp und sponsorblock plugin

    Allerdings ist yt-dlp stand gestern fĂŒr mich kaputt nvm geht wieder

    Streaming von lĂ€ngeren Videos raucht gerne mal ab, oder lĂ€sst sich nach Pausen nicht fortfĂŒhren. Ich werd fĂŒr gewisse Sachen weiter im VLC Player gucken, aber als Tracker & Downloader funktioniert es erste Klasse!

    Wird weiterempfohlen.

    PS: Leider grad gemerkt, dass in Downloads SponsorBlock Segmente nicht entfernt werden. Naja, Luft nach oben gibts immer.

    Oh nein, sowas aber auch! Das hatte ich garnicht bedacht. đŸ«ŁđŸ˜š NĂ€chstes mal werd ich draf auchten, dass ich statt dem nĂ€chstbesten Bild ausm Internet eine hĂ€ssliche Paint-Zeichnung von framamemes verwende, damit meine Pfosten von ungetrĂŒbter IntegritĂ€t sind!
