Just what it says in the title.

I’ve really enjoyed it and the roleplaying aspect of activating some kind of strange technology cloning machine with a digital interface and chance for corruption / mistake, but there is a part of me that misses seeing clear, beautiful images of these celebrities.

Can I hear your opinion and reasoning in the comments?

I would prefer dropping it

I am conflicted, because I absolutely love roleplay, and playing into a theme, but at the same time, it can be helpful to see clear images, especially for celebs that are less famous.

Maybe there are other aesthetics, like black and white, which might be easier to see, and go for an old 50s mad scientist vibe?

Yes. Please. It can be hard to look at on my phone.

    Clear images would be preferable

It's always kinda hurt my eyes a little bit, but that was never a valid criticism (to me) to bring up because I loved how consistently thematic you were with it.

I prefer clear images but maybe you can do half clear half digitised faces.

I like it because it's thematic and fitting. If you miss clear pictures, though, why not switch up or alternate the theme?

I like it, although I agree it can be hard to get good detail if I don't know who the person is already.

It's nice to have fun, consistent content like yours ❤️

Do it for as long as you enjoy it, but i'm sure you'd bring a fresh take to clear images too, so if you're wondering, maybe it's a sign to challenge yourself to try new styles. You can always return to the low-res aesthetic you've mastered.

Do what you prefer, or... why not do both?

Why not just have a second page with the clear images? Best of both worlds.

Dropping it? No way in hell, it's your thing and you're good at it!

But you could experiment with other stuff, i'm sure whatever you come up will be entertaining, or at worse, be a fun experiment.

Don't drop the res. No need, for us at least.

But keep the roleplaying part, but you can change the theme if you want to use clearer pics. Like some chaotic magic that creates clones rather than a machine with a screen.
