I have a friend who is into making jewelry and sewing and things of that nature and from the outside I’m not sure what kinds of things fit into those style of crafts. I was wondering if there were any tools or other ideas that would make a good gift for them.

There's like beginning knitting kits that will show you how to knit with enough yarn for a project and needles that are pretty cool

I got one as a joke but actually took a crack at it, it was quite therapeutic. Gave up after a while bc it's not a good hobby for the ADHD enjoyer but I can see it grabbing the artistically minded hard

If they're an experienced knitter, this could end up being useless for them. I have to tell my relatives to not buy me art supplies as gifts because chances are, I already have something significantly better.

There are things craft people use lots of and are always in need of more. I think it would help to figure out what the person is always buying more of. Stuff like superglue, gesso, needlepoint plastic mesh (AKA "granny grating"), tracing paper, sandpaper, watercolor paper, sculpting wire, and so on are things people are constantly buying more of.

Ooo that sounds really nice! I might have to grab one for myself too I’ve always wanted to try needle crafts.

Its super relaxing but if you have attention issues counting stitches is hard. My shit was full of holes lol

That makes sense that would probably get me eventually lol

I got myself a flower press last year and really love it. You can use the flowers for jewelry if you coat them in resin or just display them in a picture frame. Other than that I would maybe recommend a gift card from a shop in your area that sells arts and crafts supplies. Yarn and that stuff tends to be expensive.
