Anyone else find the wording odd? 'This. Is. Epic.' that they're finally coming to Steam after only being on... Epic.
post
The Steam page does not mention Denovo nor always-online DRM. I'm cautiously optimistic.
Edit: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2395210/Tony_Hawks_Pro_Skater_1__2/ So you don't have to visit Twitter/X.
Publishers have been known to add that info one or two days before release in the past.
The system requirements do infact mention it "requires an internet connection"
About time lol. I guess they forgot about it.
I bought on Xbox so was no thing. Great remake, definitely recommend.
The company the developed it got consumed by Blizzard shortly after.
I'll just keep emulating them
It's genuinely one of the best remakes in existence and emulation is not even close in this case because THPS1+2 backports loads of quality of life features from later entries.
Is the music the same?
About half is from original entries, the other half is contemporary stuff that respects the theme and is very good on its own. It's not the only area where remake gracefully draws from originals and modern skating, for example you get all the old skaters as well as modern pros.
Will online multiplayer still be broken?
