Recent reviews are very negative. People complain the devs gutted the game to make it f2p
As i understand it, people are disappointed that they bought a strategy game and now the developers have supposedly removed most of the strategy so that the game is more like a visual novel. I haven't played it, so idk, but i haven't seen anyone complaining that the game itself is bad, apart from the fact that it's allegedly not a strategy game anymore.
FWIW one of the reviews says if you enable the beta update that it reverts to the original game with strategy elements, before the visual novel update
