After a full year of not thinking about printers, the best printer is still whatever random Brother laser printer that’s on sale.

I’ve got a b&w Brother and a color laser Brother, and I have no complaints.

Same. Have been running a hl-3070 cw since 2013 and it's great. still printing sharp, vibrant, and loads.

Can confirm, I bought my brother laser printer that looks similar 3 years ago maybe? Still on the same toner cartridge. My wife is work from home and uses it like an office printer.
