Amazingly, I am aware of that. Whether it is legal or not is not the same thing as whether it is moral. And yes, I am entitled to my own opinions. 40/18 is just as fucked up as 40/14 in my view, and if you don't like my opinion, good for you - that's your opinion.

    You can't have a society based on morals and you can't impose your morals on others. Still I respect your morals as long as you keep them to yourself and to regulate your behavior. It's ok not to date 18 yo if you are 40 based on your morals. It's not ok to bullie 40 year olds and 18 year olds when they mutually agree to date between them.

    Okay, so just a reminder that was a discussion about age discrimination.

    What do you think laws which forbid a 40 year old from dating a 14 year do? That’s society imposing their morals on others. They won’t just “bullie” you, they’ll imprison you.
