Is the Piped Link Bot down? No activity in the last two weeks. (lemmy.ml)

This would make me sad. ๐Ÿ˜ข

Judging from its profile, it seems there's been no activity in the last two weeks, plus I messaged it yesterday trying to get it to join a community, and the documentation says I should receive a reply confirming the new subscription, but alas, radio silence.

I don't see an issue on GitHub, which makes me think it might be user error, although it also seems highly unlikely that no video links have been posted in the last two weeks.

Does anyone know what's up?

So it wasn't just me, though that only happens in my browser, they work fine through Libretube otherwise

    Do you have Javascript disabled? Because that will cause videos not to play on Piped.

    It's not that, it seems like a frontend issue though, I just came back to a Piped tab and I was somehow able to play the video, then I reloaded the page and the video player doesn't respond to clicks anymore
