I don’t want any EV company to fail, but after the Chevy Bolt ~~and this~~, I’m just waiting for Tesla to lose the reputation for cars that catch fire.

Whup. My bad. Didn’t even read the article. I was thinking of the RAV4 plug in hybrid and made a bunch of assumptions.

Everyone is ready to make that assumption. It's sinking in with the public that EVs are fire traps. Meanwhile, gas cars are somewhere between 20 to 100 times more likely to catch fire.
