▲ 618 ▼ How many of you actually use the headphone jack on your phone? (feddit.de) submitted 2 years ago* by moonleay@feddit.de to c/technology@lemmy.world 635 comments fedilink hide all child comments On a recent post, there were a lot of comments, which said that they were missing the headphones on newer mobile devices. How many actually use the headphone jack? I ask, because I have one on my phone, since I really wanted one, but I rarely use it. Like Tops 1/Month.

The only one I can relate to is you need to charge it. And that sucks. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 6 child comments replies: [+] helenslunch@feddit.nl 7 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) (2 children) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] themurphy@lemmy.world 0 points 2 years ago (1 child) I use Bluetooth for 3 different speakers in my home, Bluetooth in the car, Bluetooth for headset and I don't own AirPods nor an iPhone. And I don't experience your problems. But I'm also not mad at Bluetooth to begin with. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [+] helenslunch@feddit.nl 5 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent [+] TK420@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] BearOfaTime@lemm.ee 3 points 2 years ago (1 child) I have a 10 year old pair of noise canceling that were way less than $100. Battery is probably shit today though. But you make a good point about quality. Gotta know what you're buying. Though my other sets were fairly inexpensive - $30-$50, and work well. A LOT depends on the phone - using the same headsets across different phones has made that pretty clear. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [+] TK420@lemmy.world 1 point 2 years ago* (last edited 1 year ago) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent
