My 14-year-old son wants an iPhone for Christmas. Do I need to get him the 15 or will an older version be okay?

He's only ever had Samsung phones, and not very good ones at that.

Highly recommend the 13 -- great model and a more economical option especially considering his age... check into AppleCare+ as well.
