Perhaps they put those cheap magsafe "rings" behind the phone so it can attach itself to magsafe chargers/accessories. Y'know those metal rings you stick with double sided tape.

    Snap3pro or snap4luxe. Best phone grip I’ve used. I gave the 4 on my 15pro. Thinner than the camera bump and allows MagSafe charging through the grip. The grip also has nano suction cups on the phone side so if you place it exactly in the right spot you can add “MagSafe” to any iPhone or any phone.

    The snap4luxe is pretty damn comfortable to use. You can do 1 finger or 2 finger style.

    I hate pop sockets because of the bulk but this thin lil thing is awesome and worth the price imo.
