Just never got the hang of smartphones, not in that way that is. Also the interaction is different, and I don't mean the physical aspects but the way you browse through something with a) a finite amount of information and b) with very few (if any) links. A physical paper comes with an included progress bar. You know, sense of pride and accomplishment and all. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] MeanEYE@lemmy.world 1 point 2 years ago I'd love to buy and read newspaper. Really do. And I don't even have to commute. But newspaper here are just trash. It's all about which celebrity cheated who with whom, political propaganda, garbage about crime and some other things. Rarely anything interesting. So I just skip. permalink fedilink source parent [–] kratoz29@lemm.ee 4 points 2 years ago (2 children) How old are you? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] ToastedPlanet@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 years ago (1 child) 30 permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] kratoz29@lemm.ee 3 points 2 years ago Same, and I have bought some before, for different reasons that I don't even remember lol, but yeah, I wouldn't buy one just to read it now lol. permalink fedilink source parent
