Apple TV’s remote finder is a joke (alien.top)

I just spent 20 minutes trying to find the Apple TV remote. All the remote finder feature did was give vague signals on if the remote is nearby or far. Why has the TV been such an after thought for Apple? It’s also frustrating that I can’t set my soundbar as the default audio output.

Remote finder is a joke? Try AirPods finder lol. Literally sitting under a piece of paper 2cm away from me… CANNOT CONNECT TO AIRPOD! Ran all over the house only to find it literally on my desk

    Yep. Drove cross country this week for vacation. About 20 minutes after a stop I got a notification on car play that my AirPods were last seen at the last stop. I’m like oh crap they fell out of my pocket. Got out. Searched around the truck floor boards, all pockets, my backpack in the bed of the truck, back seat... Nothing. Gave up. Started driving down the road and noticed they were sitting in the console next to where my phone sits. Mkk

    Remote finder is a joke too. My kids constantly leave my living room remote random places. Even had a case on it. It will say near when I’m at the couch… when it’s on the bar in the kitchen next to the fridge.
