Help, need advice! I currently have a 200mbps home internet plan with ISP provided modem/router, when I run a speed test over wired connection I get the speed I'm paying for sometimes more.... (alien.top)

however when I run a speed test over wifi connection it's usually in the 45mbps range. Will buying and using a 3rd party wireless router allow me to get the full speed or close to the full speed I'm paying for over Wi-Fi?

Wireless is half duplex, you are paying for 200 Mbps, the max you can get is 100 and then is an issue of the antena on your device, I get more on laptop, less on ipad and even less on iphone.
