Wish I knew about this before I bought my MBA on November 5. Do you think Apple might help me out?

This happened to me last year, they said the only thing I could do would be to return then rebuy it to get the gift card

Yeah I don’t think you can do much here. You are outside of your 14 day window as well.

I would say just enjoy your laptop and forget about this.

Apple is very lax with returns slightly outside the 14 day window. Just go to the Apple Store and explain your situation, they will most likely let you return it
If you bought it on November 7th, you fall under apple’s holiday return period which lasts until Jan 8th. So go ahead and return it

I did not mean it that way. If you can, of course return it and get a new one.

Also, kudos to your reading comprehension, he/she just mentioned November 5.
