Does anyone else feel that the haptic notification for Apple's new State of Mind tracker is far too severe for the purpose it is trying to serve? Jolting me out of whatever pleasant state I was in to ask me a set of questions seems counter to whatever mindfulness goal they claim to have.

The whole experience lowers my desire to even utilize a feature I was otherwise excited to use. A reduction in the intensity would likely produce better results? Thoughts?

I agree and it’s not the only alert that seems counter to its purpose.

The bedtime notification haptic is similarly harsh and has actually woken me up before when I was super tired and went to bed a few minutes before my scheduled bedtime.

The low battery alert keeps the watch screen on at full brightness until you dismiss it.
