Why can't I just freely place apps on the home pages where I want? Some other GUI issues. (alien.top)

Anyone know the likelihood this will change? This and the option of icon navigation controls like 3-button are a major hiccup for me when I think about switching to iphone for the features I do like (cameras, better versions of apps, build quality standards, etc). What's the rationale of not trying some features that Android users frequently make use of if they want?

Zero likelihood; because:

  1. Apple is a bunch of control freaks.

  2. Apple doesn't have the programming chops to figure out how to do it.

Take your pick.
