I originally thought an ebike was a bike with an electric motor attached, but I've seen quite a few articles about wheeled conveyances that I wouldnt classify as a bike being called one. Doesn't help that it's kind of complicated too: Classifications of different types of ebikes vary from country to country, but basically as a rough guide, if you can pedal it, it would probably be regarded as an ebike.
