MODERATORS
Hockey (field hockey) used to have the same offside rule as Football, and now has no offside at all.
However there was a period in the middle where you could only be offside in the final quarter of the field. I've often thought that change could help football, spreading out the defense more, while still avoiding seagulling by strikers, and constant long balls.
