Hello, my phone stopped charging when using the regular lightning port. It charges fine wirelessly and I took it to an Apple Store, they said no issues besides a bad charging port. I will replace it when I return home in a few weeks. For now, if I use a connector to change to USB-C and back to lightning, it charges perfectly fine. Will this damage my phone in the long run?

There should be no issues. But it's really weird since you're basically charging over lightning work which was said not to work properly...
