Any good Chinese movie (with English sub) ? (lemmygrad.ml)

I just realized I've never seen or heard of a Chinese movie. Not just filmed in China but also written and produced by a Chinese company. Is there any good one with English dub or sub ?

I've seen some recommendations on Hexbear before. If you're looking for new movies then I heard 1921, The Battle at Lake Changjin or The Eight Hundred are good. There are also some series like Three Body (which I've been seeing, IMO kind of a letdown) or Wandering Earth. Those are the super popular ones

    Wandering earth was crazy lol. But it was cool to show the world collaborating to solve a crisis. If you're a fan of the 2000s era disaster flicks like Armageddon, 2012, Day after tomorrow, it's a lot like that. But with less "divorced dad saves the day" subplots.
