Yeah, thats 166mg per smoke and way to high for me. I am using a cart and 2 hits gets me where i want (im new) and that is 8-12mg. I need my tolerance to go up before doing much more. Made that mistake once and was convinced for hours my house was burning down. That was a bad night and i dont care for a repeat.
The math is off, you assume everything is a 1:1. Smokes only about 20% efficient in a flower that is 20-30% thc so cut that 166 down to about 10mg.
Okay, that's the kind of information I needed to know. So, it's 166mg flower weight which with 30% thc would give 49.8mg and if only 20% of that gets to you that is 9.96mg for you? And so my 2 hits of the cart at 8-12mg is equal to rolling a joint of ~200mg flower?
Yes, that would potentially be a rough close to life conversion. Keep in mind that 30% is some real top shelf bud, which will cost you a pretty penny in a dispensary and even for homegrow it is a hard sell, 15-25 is more realistic. I don’t have legal weed so I have no clue how the real life comparison for carts is. For edibles you are looking at a 70-80% extraction of thc. Wax and other extracts as well as hash can be pushing 90+. Vaping dry bud ive seen quotes 50-70% range.
What i am looking at is THCa flower ounces for $150 with 20-32% and a COA.
COAs can be sketchy, from grow forums I gather a lot of places will issue fake numbers for the right price.
I also saw you mention you were worried about dry herb dosing, have a look at Dynavap. It is more finnicky than electric ones but the chamber is small and on some models you can even reduce the chamber to half. The new armored cap is pretty begginer friendly.
