If you bought an Ultra, why did you choose se it over the regular Apple Watch?

When I saw it announced last year, I thought to myself “no one is going to buy that”. I just thought there were too few features that most people don’t need. But now I see them everywhere. I don’t see the appeal of increased battery life being worth twice the price of the standard watch.

Why did you buy the Ultra and is it worth the price to you?

Prove me wrong I guess?

Battery life for me. My S7 41mm wasn’t lasting long enough for my 12+ hour hikes and climbs. Plus it’s annoying to charge it overnight when I’m backpacking. I finally just accepted that I am the target audience for the watch.
