check out https://www.protondb.com/ if the games you want to play are supported. The number of unsupported games shrink by the day

Yeah, no. When and if Linux will support all games, then I'll get rid of Win.

Nowadays it's mostly anti-cheats refusing to run under wine/proton. This contains a helpful list of where they work and don't: https://areweanticheatyet.com
