I find listening to a book helps reduce anxiety, and if I'm still awake, at least I'm enjoying listening to a book. Listening to something you've already read before removes most active thinking about what might happen in the book and helps you sleep. I'm currently listening through the entire 'Realm of the Elderlings' series, and previously listened to the entire 'Wheel of Time'.
