My old person trait is that I think 'ghosting' is completely unacceptable and you owe the other person a face-to-face conversation.
At least in Europe I suspect those of us who grew up before neoliberalism took over in the 80s have a different take on the normality of the whole "being treated as a mark to scam money of 24/7" thing...
