Too many people left, and they didn't make as much as they assumed so they jack the prices up to compensate r sulting in more leaving etc etc...

Or...they know that people will continue to pay because...well, I don't know why people would. Mindless entertainment? I dunno...I don't understand people's obsessions with streaming services.
