No country has claimed to have achieved communism

That may be your interpretation of that matter. But going with your interpretation, why is that? Maybe because communism fails every time anyone tries to make it a reality?

    Exactly countries do not exist in a vacuum. Every single country that has worked for national sovereignty (not even explicitly socialism) has been subject to brutal aggressions from imperialist countries.

    Economic blockades, terrorism, invasions, coups, etc...
