Yeah girl, up your game! Hit anything with anything! Write a python script to randomly combine body parts and products you scrape from Lowes' product page! Grill forks and elbows! Underboob and teflon goop! Knees and... a cement mixer?

... Okay, I'm starting to see some flaws.

(My 2nd favorite hardware store gem is my enormous impact play naval cannon - which is not quite as simple, but is orders of magnitude more fun)

I'm gonna need details about the naval cannon

My favorite is the chain flogger I made using hardware store equipment. Dirt cheap, heavy enough to only get a few real swings per scene tops, electrically conductive (why I made it), and not an electromagnet, which is the concern that caused it to be so heavy.

And yeah, random metal stuff from hardware and thrift stores makes up a decent portion of what my wife likes as estim toys. Fuck, what I really need is less new stuff and to create an organizer for what we already have…

Here's an in-progress shot of the cannon:

It's a penumatic tire bead seater that fires 4" tennis balls - heavily modified to run off 12g CO2 cartridges so we don't need to lug an extension cord and air compressor along with us. The absolute epitome of "thumpy" impact toys, imho. We built an adapter to put 25g threaded CO2 cartridges on it, but it'll put one of those 4" tennis balls through drywall (whoops) so we've never tried it on a person with those...

(Finished-but-not-great photo of the finished cannon)

And ooooooo, man, I've wanted to get into estim for AGES. Ugh, I should really do that. Any recommendations for a sorta-newbie (especially about like... getting it to actually hurt)?

(Less ho-y photo of the cannon)

Ok that may very well be the hottest picture I've seen you post lol. And now I really want to try making something like that. And now that I'm kinda starting to see a woman with workshop space and skills… probably not a good first project in a while, but definitely something I want to do now that I know it's a thing.

And yeah for estim, especially if you're looking for it to really hurt my advice is to get a decent power violet wand and a body contact cable. Smaller points of contact hurt more, so you can get something like a wartenberg wheel to really do a number. Importantly the pain comes from being close but not touching, it's a very different sensation with touching (which I also love, but that's more TENS unit territory, violet wands and bccs aren't great for it). A narrow gage wire held properly just off the skin can even brand it, but it takes some doing and I'm more a fan of hot or cold branding if you're headed in that direction, less slow precision.

Also cattle prods are fun but not as strong as you'd think, stun guns (the melee kind, not ranged tasers) can be fun but I don't have experience with them, and I've known people who really enjoy shock collars, but they're not as safe as the rest of estim (I've just never gotten around to getting one). I also have known a woman who's brought an actual taser into the bedroom but she was definitely more of an edge player than most.

And yeah if you've ever got estim questions feel free to ask, I've been doing it for nearly a decade.
