From experience, most people in education but I know it happens way more often than people know. This is why you don't see many male teachers outside of shop classes or drafting, which most schools don't have anymore. I gave up on teaching because all the bad eggs made you walk on eggshells in a minefield.

    And on the other hand, there have been at least 3 scandals that broke in my local area alone about male teachers who were inappropriate with students being quietly moved to different school districts with huge settlement payments. And no justice for the victims.

    We need to dismantle our rape culture for both types of victims.

    Yeah I agree. I would say I hated working in high school. I was only like maybe seven or so years older than the students but looked just like the students--sigh at least I had a staff badge. I would often get the puppy dog eyes from female students and I thought don't think what you're thinking please.

    In my time in high school there were cases of either-or, and nothing was done about it.
