Yeah all those assembler optimisations I learned have proven so useful over the years!
On a serious note though, if you like (and have the ability to understand) complexity then AI will just move the needle towards other things to learn, IMO.
The AI tech itself is interesting, like back in the day people would get curious about how video games worked under the hood, while others "became stupid" because they only played them.
I feel it's as long as human history, Don't read it will make you lazy and stupid!
Smart people won't lose their "iq" (or whatever) for reading, playing videogames or using AI, couch potatoes won't get out of the couch if they stop reading, stop playing videogames or stop using AI...
The algorithmic dark pattern though (tiktok, FB, ...), that's serious bad stuff wrecking havoc with your dopamine, fuck that.
