It's cute until you're speaking Japanese in Japan and have to remember how to say a particular mangled English word in order to be understood. You have to learn to pronounce so many things ostensibly like a character doing a racist Japanese accent.

I wore my bureza (blazer) and wai shatsu (white dress shirt) and rode my baiku (bike) to sutaba (starbucks) and bought a koppu (cup) of ko-hi (coffee).

As a language learner it gets old.
