Children need parental bonding.

Also, an audio book wont assist in helping the child learn to read.

    An audio book does not provide parental bonding time.
    An audio book doesn't have words that can be pointed to by a parent.

    No, you are trying to move goal posts and put your own additional fanfic where this guy said he’s offloaded total responsibility and never reads to his kids because he has a decent idea to personalize an audio book.
