I never cared for her when she was alive. But in the years since her death I've realised what a talented and lovely person she was.

    I'm of the same sentiment because when I first started hearing her name it when she was spiralling and finally passed

    Many years later as I was listening to blues and rnb, a song came on that really hit me and when I saw she was the artist I "got it". I listened to some more of her works and was struck by the talent and the struggle that came through
