If you're a fan of early first-person dungeon crawler RPGs, very much in the vein of Ultima Underworld (or maybe a Morrowind demake, with extra jank) then it might be worth taking for a spin. It has a lot of the 'early gaming' foibles, like having puzzles that are unfair, and killing you on a whim. The controls, mmm, give you a lot of thinking time, let's say. It's also derivative, "follow the leader, but on the PSX" stuff. But you can see that some love went into it.

"From magic" starts with Demon's Souls. Don't be expecting a bold experiment that defines a new genre with the KF games.
