I caught a mod at Late Stage Capitalism admitting they aren't from the US, so they deleted all my posts and banned me.

ydi. how is it relevant where someone lives (unless the comm is only for americans, which it isn't), except to imply that because they aren't american, they can't be trusted? the blight on lemmy world isn't the token socialists being critical of us politics, it's the democrats who can't accept totally legit criticisms of their party, and jump directly to mccarthyism, which helps prove the criticism is valid imo.

that's not the problem, the problem is his distinct and repeated calls for people to not participate in the process - which is a great way to lose elections. do you want more trump? no?

    THEN FUCKING VOTE

love all the fucking chuds 'downvoting' literal encouragement for people to vote lol, the irony is hilarious.

I'm getting so fucking sick of the tankie splitter types that came out to protest mamdani... https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2026/10/8/800109366/news/far-left-eating-its-own-mamdani/

yeah, .ml users are generally bad faith agitators. you can follow their posts and see the same dishonest arguments happening over and over with every argument they lose in public getting your comments removed.

block .ml subs if you want to stop getting tricked into their “version” of popular communities.

Just a warning, this isn't a campaigning space. We don't allow electoralists to shame people for not voting. Everyone here knows about voting. We are not children who need to be bullied into action by you. Its totally insufferable. You can post about politics in a politics comm.

    lolwtf electoralists?

I would vote if there was a single candidate on my ballot that didn't support genocide.

Down votes by those denying a genocide occurred during Biden but see it plain as day now

They even think more people died under Trump. The genocide is still happening, and has had for seven decades, but WTF? Absolute disconnect with reality.

Biden repeatedly told debunked blood libel lies about those he was enacting genocide against. He kept saying he saw "beheaded babies" with his "own eyes", over and over and over.

    Fuck them all.

You know, there's objective data showing how many people died in what administration. And you're telling me less people died under Biden? Do you honestly believe that? Did it feel truthy to you when you said it? Is it your emotional truth? Yes, the genocide is still unfolding. It's been going on for over seven decades. Yes, Republicans are also genocidal. That's one of the few things they're honest about. What does that say about Democrats? Biden repeatedly told debunked blood libel lies against the very people he was enacting genocide against, all from his campaign podium, over and over and over. He said he saw beheaded babies in ovens "with his own eyes". WTF?

Give me a candidate that isn't genocidal and I will vote for them. Otherwise, let Republicans run it all into the ground. America failing is the best option put before me, which is best for all humanity. That's who I care about, not you, not me.

America is out of control and it needs to be stopped somehow. Democracy isn't an option. I wish it was.

I want democracy. I want democracy for us. I want democracy for Ukrainians. I want democracy for Palestinians. I want democracy for the world.

You'll empower genocidal billionaires over other genocidal billionaires, and call it some kind of victory.

Anyone who questions that logic must be a foreign agent.

My problem with GodlessCommie isn't that he's not American. My problem is he is the sole mod of a relatively popular sub and tries to dissuade people from voting and bans anyone that doesn't support his narrative.

    He's stupid, and dangerous.

You intentionally misinterpret don't vote for Democrats or Republicans as don't vote and then try to claim those are our only choices. those are the only chocies that you have locked yourself into

it really upsets me when they try to rewrite history. the molotov ribbentrop pact happened. and how could the soviets have 'single handedly' stopped the nazis without BILLIONS of US aide (that wasn't repaid until 2006!!!) AND the allies opening the western front?

like, fuck, this isn't some controversy, this is history.... so that's my limit, people are entitled to their own interpretations but when you stop acknowledging what happened, nah, fuck off

I would say it's at least odd for someone from another country to post exclusively about American politics.

Unfortunately, US politics has a huge impact on other countries. Just ask anyone from Iran, Venezuala, Haiti, Cuba, or Palestine, to name just a few recent examples.

I suppose it could be a coincidence that they behave exactly the way a foreign propagandist attempting to manipulate politics to the detriment of the US would behave. I wouldn't bet on it though.

I get what you are saying, but that is literally their whole account. Every single post is LSC. A regular person would at least occasionally comment about a cute dog picture or something, you know?

There are subs specifically for posting cute pet pics and dog pics exclusively. But that's just an example. He doesn't post about his favorite restaurants, hobbies, family, nothing. It doesn't feel like a regular human interacting with social media.

Lemmy isn’t Facebook. It’s intentionally pseudonymous. The communist developers created it that way for good reason. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operational_security

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew

    Then they came for me
And there was no one left
    To speak out for me
