It's defo not a decomp. The footprint wouldn't be anywhere so tiny & the code so tidy.

Anyway this: https://github.com/storytold/lightcraft/pull/115 makes it suddenly very interesting, because this one thing could propel the usefulness beyond LR, given it actually works well.
