The U.S. Justice Department warned Britain, France, and Norway of possible retaliation over Israeli settlement boycotts, signaling a harder U.S. stance after Washington previously avoided condemning the measures.

Harmeet Dhillon, an assistant U.S. attorney general in the Justice Department’s civil rights division, singled out the U.K., France and Norway as she warned against participation in the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement.

Any country joining BDS, she said, “is going to risk, while President Trump is in power, retaliatory or corresponding sanctions.”

Any country that treats the US as anything other than a liability or worse is not going to have a good time.

The doctrine used to be "speak softly and carry a big stick". In a very short period of time it transitioned into "rock out with your cock out".

Literally verbatim nazi Germany, but with thousands of nukes.
