A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.

Our Philosophies:

All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.

Our Goals

Higher wages for underpaid workers.
Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
Better and fewer working hours.
Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

I'm very sorry to have made you feel like a simpleton, and could not be more genuine in my hope you have a nice day. Think the hyperbolic conflation of questioning a therapists role in society with seeing them as part of an illuminati conspiracy set a difficult tone. I'm also getting kinda blown up in another thread right now. If there's something else you'd like to say, by all means feel free

No no you're good. I appreciate the kindness. I also try to be kind to those who are kind, which is why I bothered to be persnickety about tone in the first place, because it did seem like you had good intentions.

Man, I don't know... "I'm sorry that I made you feel like a simpleton" sounds patronizing as fuck, and I'm not sure they deserve the benefit of the doubt that you've given them. I'm not sure they were actually trying to be kind.

Yeah, I wasn't going to get precise about it, but technically they didn't make me feel like a simpleton, just made me feel like they thought I was a simpleton, lmao. But its all good.
