Well a thing like "he might still be alive" sounds like a rabbit hole to get lost in to me. Whether he's dead or alive, he was only ever the tip of an iceberg. I mean, if we had a robust Prole Detective Agency and the means with which to bring people like him to justice, I'd say, leave no stone unturned, but the resources aren't even there to properly investigate assassinations of BLM organizers. One thing we do know is Yankee power brokers sure love their assassinations. They've been doing it to sovereign leaders of countries for decades. Possibly including their own based on what one believes about the nature of JFK's assassination.
But faking a death to save somebody like Epstein? I don't know, what precedent is there for that. I spose one could say "well it wouldn't be out in the open if there was", but like, what precedent is there for people having good reason to believe this is something the empire has done in the past? There's plenty of precedent for assassination that's known.
