Keep doing it and you'll stop craving it. Also remember reading something that when you feel like snacking, drink water your body is thirsty.

    I can vouch for the water trick. I add two heaping teaspoons of psyllium fiber. Gives me that satisfying filled feeling.

    It's a slightly ablest quote, but in a world of quotes that fail to inspire me at all I find this one often does the trick.

    Also, eat more fiber throughout the day, and it helps with the cravings a lot. But yes water is good. I also have tea a lot when I'm craving my late night munchies.
