One of the biggest headaches facing Google’s push to make Android more of a desktop platform is the professional sector.

that, and the number of apps that support keyboard shortcuts is like 6.

    I don't think android is at all ready for desktop in any respect, disregarding the fact that it sucks out loud. Also, how long has this push been ongoing? I remember netbooks that could boot a funny android...

    and probably nobody did that because netbooks could run nearly any linux distro, almost no android apps were compiled to x86, and pretty much no android apps were better than the linux versions.

    yea It was a preconfigured OEM option from what I can tell, very silly initiative. I think the idea is that it would boot faster than windows, but my netbooks run arch (btw) from SSDs so lmao
