I think it's actually much higher.

This is admittedly purely anecdotal and your mileage may thus vary, but in my experience as an elder millennial, most people here are around my age or older 🤷🏻

    Yeah but not all people, it's an avarage so it will naturally be lower

    A smaller or a too big number will throw off the avarage, that's also why using the avarage to see how much a country population earn is bad since billionare and millionare people exist
